As part of ongoing international cooperation, a team from ERA-BE took part in the Hellweek organised by the German organisation @fire in early May. This intensive training brought together emergency responders and specialists to further develop their skills and exchange experiences within an international context.
During the Hellweek, participants were confronted with a variety of realistic scenarios. The challenging conditions demanded not only technical knowledge and physical commitment, but also strong mental resilience.
For ERA-BE, this participation provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen ties with international partners. By training together, sharing knowledge and refining joint procedures, we are building towards even more efficient cooperation during future emergencies and interventions.
