ERA-BE in Portugal 2026: A Season in numbers
Behind every number lies dedication, collaboration, and boundless solidarity.
As the season comes to an end, we at ERA-BE vzw proudly look back on an intensive and impactful operational period in Portugal. This year, our teams provided structural support in the regions of Paredes de Coura and Penela.
Thanks to the tireless dedication of our volunteers and the close cooperation with our Portuguese partners, we have been able to make a tangible difference on the ground.
đź“Š Our Impact in Numbers
Troughout the deployment, our teams carried out a total of 183 interventions and missions:
55 fire interventions and 9 preventive/standby missions
77 medical interventions and 15 Search & Rescue missions
14 technical assistance operations and 6 water supply operations
In total, this amounts to no less than 261+ registered volunteer deployments!
